AXENT X Guangzhou Design Week | Hundreds of Design Masters Celebrated AXENT 10th Anniversary

On November 27th, WELCOME HOME! 2018 Guangzhou Design Week Welcoming dinner, the 10th Anniversary Gala Dinner of AXENT Switzerland and the award ceremony of Kapok Design Awards China Best of the Best, were held at Party Pier, Guangzhou. Mr. Leo He – Executive Director of Guangzhou Design Week, Mr. Tony Zhang – Co-founder of Guangzhou Design Week, Mr. T.K. Chu, Mr. Kun Dai, Mr. Bin Ju, Mr. Kinney Chan – committee members of C Foundation and hundreds of other design masters jointly celebrated AXENT 10th anniversary. Overseas partners from the Czech Republic, Japan, Switzerland, Italy, Israel and the United Kingdom were also invited to attend the event.

Home Means Caring

At the beginning of the gala, Mr. Leo He introduced AXENT Switzerland, “Home means caring, and it is also a place where people can relax. As the strategic partner of Guangzhou Design Week Welcoming Dinner, AXENT continuously provide high-quality, healthy and caring products with smart technologies.”

AXENT entered Chinese market in 2015, and gradually established a deep friendship with Guangzhou Design Week due to its ultimate pursuit of design. At the banquet, Mr. Frank Li, AXENT chief product strategic officer, passionately shared the unknown story of AXENT. AXENT was established by the Zurich Lake in Switzerland in 2008. “My partner Daniel and I both have great passion for sanitary industry, and we were unsatisfied with the status quo of bathroom industry at that time.” Once AXENT was established, they decided to take a fresh look at the bathroom and shared a visionary spirit to explore the new and unexpected.

As a symbol of civilization, sanitary industry is still regarded as traditional. The technologies and intelligence applied in sanitary ware are at least 100 years behind automobiles, mobile phones, aerospace, medical equipment, unmanned aircraft and other fields…… “For a brand, freedom means to be different. Differentiation is rather a thinking mode and spiritual belief than a strategy. It comes from our dedication after listening, observing and understanding our consumers. More importantly, it also represents a commitment of a good brand: we are really different, we know you, even better than you do!”

Freedom is one of the beliefs and genes of AXENT. And AXENT has been practicing its yearning for freedom with wisdom for ten years, bringing the world disruptive innovations such as “Tankless Technology”, “Simplified ONE.DIAL Technology”, “Bathtub without tap” and “XT-CABINET smart bathroom cabinet”.

Home Means Harvest

As one of the most influential product design awards in China, Kapok Design Awards have been promoting the growth and expansion of Chinese design since its establishment, leading Chinese designers toward a larger stage. 2018 is a year of harvest. At the award ceremony of Kapok Design Awards China Best of the Best, many young Chinese designers achieved excellent results, which was an encouragement and also harvest from “home”.

Home also means responsibility and love for the family.
