On June 19th, 2020, a great event of interior design that integrates black technology and life aesthetics was held in Nanjing. AXENT Switzerland, one of the top European Intelligent bathroom brands, together with Mr. Xie Tian, a famous designer, and IDEA-TOPS, the international space design award, opened up a new outlook to interior design. Nearly 400 designers from Jiangsu and Anhui, celebrities of Nanjing household building materials and media celebrities participated in the grand event, and appreciated AXENT’s subversive bathroom products.

Mr. Xie Tian: Art Thinking Drives Design Innovation
Mr. Xie Tian, who has been engaged in the design field for 27 years, is a slasher with multiple identities. As an art educator, he has teaching art design for many years, and he also has unique views on design culture as a designer of architectural space. Over the years, Xie Tian has always put human care first, refined the vitality of nature into design elements, combined traditional culture with modern design, and interpreted his attitude towards life through design.
At AXENT’s private sharing session, Mr. Xie Tian shows his different design works since 1993 to review the development of design stages. He has designed countless buildings and won numerous awards, and each stage of his works presents a unique style.
Age-cross Forum: Era-cross Design, Boundless Innovation
During the age-cross forum, many masters from 1970s, 1980s and 1990s discussed the change of design across the era. Dr. Fang held that only innovation is the eternal weapon no matter for artists, designers and technical engineers. AXENT has always laying great importance on subversion and innovation, aiming to create better, greener and happier bathroom experience. Mr. Xie Tian proposed that the foundation of innovation lies in diligence, and encouraged designers to innovate from accumulated cases and practices, so as to make humanistic breakthrough. Nanjing designers also stated that they should integrate AXENT’s innovative products and advanced technology to daily design, so as to create wonderful and irresistible living space for owners.
IDEA-TOPS Awards: Shining Designers Come to Witness the Moment of Glory
Jointly sponsored by China Interior Design Network, Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University, Central Academy of Fine Arts and Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, IDEA-TOPS is not only an important design award, but also a platform of communication and exchange for the design and production industries.
Under the joint evaluation of Jiangsu judges and global jury, more than 40 awards were finally born in the 10th IDEA-TOPS Award of Jiangsu division, covering public buildings, hotel design, villas, model houses, commercial spaces and others.
