The ICONIC AWARD Design Prize

Architecture + Design: An award for architects and interior designers, construction and development.

The ICONIC AWARDS were introduced by the German Design Council, an independent organization established post World-War II in 1953 in Germany by the German Federal Parliament and in close connection with the German industry.

One of the most important and professional design centers in the world, the German Design Council is a bridge between designers and the construction industry. Over the past 60 years, it has been committed to all-round and outstanding design practices. The mission is to award excellent design and thereby improving the quality of life.

Covering the whole building industry, the iconic awards include the “Iconic Award for Architecture” and the “Iconic Award for Interior Innovation”, two categories of awards that are open to designers in industry, design and brand communication.

The goal of the “Iconic Award” is to explore and distinguish the best products in all areas of building design, including the story behind each product as this embodies the overall design of the product practice.
