German Innovation Award in Gold
On May 28th, 2019, the ceremony and festive Gala of German Innovation Awards took place in the Technikmuseum in Berlin. More than 350 invited guests from business, politics and media attended the exclusive event.
The jury stated that “AXENT showcases a new era of bathroom technology. The AXENT.NOVIA concept blends smooth surfaces with defined yet sculpted lines.”
Whereas in the past the tub and fitting were two separate elements, the NOVIA combines both in one product. And this in a highly elegant and comfortable way. Both the inlet and the outlet are located in an oval channel that is evenly integrated into the floor, which means significantly less noise at the inlet. You won’t bump into a tap, nor will the seating comfort be disturbed by an uneven drain. A great innovation that is also aesthetically convincing.
With the German Innovation Award, the German Design Council honors pioneering innovations that have a lasting effect and offer added value for the user. The evaluation of the German Innovation Award not only takes novelty of the products into account, but also deliberates their practical value to users. The awards are divided into “B2C” and “B2B” categories, including “Gold”, “Winner” and “Special Award”.

AXENT.NOVIA Intelligent Bathtub made another brilliant achievement by winning German Brand Award on June 6th, 2019.
With its innovative Novia series, AXENT Switzerland is setting entirely new standards in the bathroom sector. The aesthetically pleasing bathtub has not only eliminated the need for an external tap, its innovative floor-integrated inlet can also be controlled digitally. Water flows out of the smooth and flush ring like a spring, filling the tub while making practically no noise. A nice additional feature is the ambient lighting integrated into the metal edge. An exceptional series resulting from a consistent brand strategy that takes an intelligent and meaningful approach to the networking of bathrooms.
The German Brand Institute foundation was established by GMK Markenberatung and the German Design Council. With the award, the institute wants to emphasize the importance of the brand as a key success factor for companies.
