AXENT was one of the winners of the German Brand Awards on June 29, 2017 in Berlin. The Swiss manufacturer of shower toilets received several awards: the most meaningful one in \u201cExcellence in Branding\u201d for interdisciplinary brand leading, as well as \u201cNewcomer Brand of the Year\u201d and the winner label in the category \u201cIndustry Excellence in Branding \u2013 Heating & Bathroom\u201d. More than 500 guests from the fields of economics, politics and media followed the exclusive invitation to the festive gala at the German Historical Museum.<\/p>\n

The German Brand Award is the German Design Council and German Brand Institute\u2019s award for successful brands, consequent brand leading, and sustainable brand communication. It was initiated though the German Design Council which was founded in 1953 by the German Bundestag and sponsored by the German Federal Association of Industry. For more than 60 years, the foundation has been aiming to strengthen the competitiveness of German companies. The German Brand Institute, which has been founded to support brand leadership, is the one holding the competition.<\/p>\n

According to Andrej Kupetz, Managing Director of the German Design Council, \u201cthe second issue of the German Brand Award shows that more and more companies recognize the importance of consequent brand-work. That they are ready to understand a brand as a strategic instrument of business development, which sometimes requires drastic changes. Those who understand this without losing sight of the foundations of successful brand-work are well-prepared for challenges the future may hold.\u201d<\/p>\n
